Australian Dermatology Diploma
This Diploma in Dermatology is provided through the resources of the Australian Institute of Dermatology . The Diploma will cover all aspects of dermatology, using some novel diagnostic algorithms and will be delivered over 28 weeks through a series of 14 online modules and a weekend meeting on the Gold Coast at the John Flynn Private Hospital. A feature of the course will be its emphasis on practical dermatological diagnosis and treatment.
There will be ongoing access to an individual tutor and to educational websites such as the Learn Dermatology Blog www.myskinconsult.blogspot.com and dedicated GP Dermatology websites such as Skin Consult www.skinconsult.com.au and Skin Cancer Consult www.skincancerconsult.com The My Skinconsult website www.myskinconsult.com which will deliver the course, will also allow participants to submit their own cases for discussion with their tutor. Successful completion of the course will entitle the candidate to spend one week with a Consultant Dermatologist in his rooms handling office dermatology and surgery.
