Surgical Audit
The SCCANZ Surgical Audit Project is primarily a tracking tool for doctors who treat skin malignancies. The software is available "on-line" free of charge and allows:

- comparison of your own results with the pooled data of your peers (completely confidential)

Auditing of surgical specimens is a requirement of the upcoming Skin Cancer Practice Accreditation, currently being trialled by the RACGP, QIP and SCCANZ. Below is a small example of information that can be viewed from the pooled data in this audit. Other information such as personal and diagnostic accuracy, use of skin flaps and grafts in the practice and adequacy of excision margins can also be seen. All personal data is completely confidential and cannot be viewed by other participants in the audit or by the Government.
